Pre-Meeting Course | Wednesday, April 9, 2025 | 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Pearls for the Early in Practice Orthopedic Surgeon
This course is designed to help early-career surgeons build clinical expertise by addressing key challenges such as negotiating contracts, developing referral networks, and utilizing social media for professional purposes.  It emphasizes the importance of continued learning, including ABOS MOC, as well as understanding billing and coding.  Additionally, the course covers mentorship, education, research, guiding surgeons in navigating academic versus private practice, and incorporating Patient-Reported Outcomes (PROs) into practice.  It also focuses on achieving work-life balance, managing burnout, and engaging in financial planning and professional activities for long-term success.
