2023-2024 Multipurpose Resident Grants

Two multipurpose resident grants of $10,000 each are given annually
The orthopedic residents must be in their second, third, fourth, fifth, or sixth postgraduate years (not a research or fellowship year) and located in the 20-state Mid-America region.
The grant may be used to fund a “visiting residency”, an educational trip abroad, a research project, or any other educational activity which the resident might wish to propose. Residents receiving awards must use the funds within the academic year in which it is awarded and will be invited to the first Mid-America Orthopaedic Association annual meeting after the project is completed and will be asked to describe his/her experience with a brief illustrated presentation.
